SeaLink is Waiheke Island’s main vehicle ferry service, operating since 1960. Ideal for travellers needing to bring cars, vans, bikes, pets, or heavy gear to the island. SeaLink offers year-round sailings from Auckland to Kennedy Point, Waiheke’s vehicle ferry terminal. With services departing from both central Auckland (Hamer Street, Wynyard Quarter) and Half Moon Bay in East Auckland, SeaLink provides a flexible and scenic way to travel to Waiheke with or without a vehicle.

When making a Sealink booking its essential to know which terminal you are leaving Auckland from. Depending on where you are coming from different locations will suit – but either work – provided you plan ahead!
Auckland Departures:
Hamer Street, Wynyard Quarter (city side)
Half Moon Bay Terminal, East Auckland
Waiheke Arrival: Kennedy Point Wharf, approx. 10 minutes’ drive to Oneroa or 15 minutes to Onetangi
Bus, taxi, or rideshare options available at all terminals

First sailings generally from 6:00 AM, with last sailings around 9:00 PM
